Hello. This is Jon of JWE Creative Services. I am hosting an online benefit to help Terence pay his medical bills. 100% of any money donated will go to Terence’s medical fund. He was injured in a violent attack on Thursday March 8, 2012 and was released from the hospital after 3 days. He has been going back for appointments for follow up and additional screening services such as a cat-scan.
He is OK but he is seriously injured with a broken orbit and a broken nose, he had a concussion, a large cut on the back of his head and other abrasions. In addition to the current online fundraiser we are putting together multiple benefits for Terence to help pay his medical bills which could be very high due to the nature of his injury and subsequent hospital stay. He does not have health insurance. Please donate what you can (no amount is too small) below using your credit card or PayPal account. You do not need a Paypal account to donate. Just select the “Don’t have a PayPal account” option. If you would like to send a check directly to him please email email@example.com and we will send you a mailing address.
If you have already donated thank you! We are sending his out to everybody to raise awareness and so friends can help spread the word. We are also preparing a “Thank You” music package that will be sent to everyone who donates or helps to organize fundraisers.
Thank you for your help and concern for our dear friend. Please keep him in your positive thoughts and prayers. We will keep you updated with his progress and we will also provide info for any benefit events that take place in the near future. If anyone is interested in hosting a benefit at your event please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Tomorrow Thursday March 22nd there is a benefit for Terence at Shake in Long Beach.
Update: Sunday March 11, 2012: Thanks again to everybody for donating, spreading the word and sending your positive words and thoughts to Terence. He has been out of the hospital and resting at home. Please keep spreading the word about the fundraiser. We have raised some money that will help but as you now a 3 day hospital stay and many follow up appointments will really start to add up. We plan on exploring every possible avenue to reduce the medical bills (through negotiations and state programs) so the donations can be more effective. We’ve had some good ideas regarding potential fundraisers and events so keep those coming too. More updates will follow as more info becomes available. Thank you! – jon
